1. Our Coop-a-Door-a -- Every coop could use a small door with a secure latch. It took nearly three years, but we think we figured it out. Our two panel door opens to 18 wide by 16 high. It clamps onto the chicken wire of our Happy Chicken Tractor to keep chickens in and everyone else out. Why hide our light under a bushel? Maybe your home-built coop could use one of these. It's pretty universal and you can even screw it to a wooden coop wall if that works for you. Colors may vary. Red is nice.

2. Our Tag-Along Waterer. OK, so chicks need to drink. We got tired of our personal collection of three-gallon buckets, pots, pans and old milk jugs. Our waterer holds five quarts and attaches to the chicken wire. The self-filling drinker part goes inside the coop. The water stays outside. Lift the cover to refill. Lean to the left or the right (we don't discuss politics here) to dump and/or clean.
